Our Drive

So, as most of you know Tyalor is a car nut... well, that is a huge understatment and, his favorite type car is BMW. He has a M5 (those of you who do not know what that is it's super duper fast) anyways, he and a group of fellow BMW owners decided to plan a "drive" this last saturday (car guys do this often... they meet somewhere...drive up the mtns together...stop hang out eat lunch) So, I decided to be a supportive wife and go with him this time. WARNING: these drives are not for sissys. I am sissy. I found us winding up and down these scary roads reaching 120mph. I yelled at Taylor a few times and then learned that it is supposed to be okay to go this fast because the car handles so well. Great.... the car handled it fine but I did not!!!! Well, I survived to write about it and it was fun to have some time with Taylor and no kids. I actully got to see some "pretty"parts of NM (never thought i'd be able to say that haha) and we stopped at a super nice resort for lunch.

I brought the camera along to get a few shots of Taylor's "baby"

The whole group (minus 2 cars)

What is wrong with this picture???

So, we were having a little dance session this morning and Jaecie came out in her red sparkly shoes. After a minute dancing she decided that she did not want to wear them anymore so she took them off and set them on the ground. Nathan then picked them up and decided he wanted to wear them so he brought them over to me to put them on and how could I say no when those big blue eyes were looking up at me? So, Here he is in his super masculine shoes. He danced and danced in those things and then refused to take them off for quite sometime. They are way too big for him so he had a hard time walking but he sure did enjoy himself! Daddy will be so proud:)
Here he is getting his groove thing on, this boy can shake it. He loves to dance!!!
He wanted to know why Jaecie and I were laughing so hard at him, he was so innocent about the whole thing but it was pretty darn funny!
(notice in pretty much any picture of him he has at least one car in hand? Apple does not fall far from the tree!)

Sorry Rick......

So I re-read my family picture post and I realized that I may have offended the great photographer that we had! Rick, you did a great job and when I said that I did not like any of them I meant that I did not like any of them of me, the photography was GREAT! and I have been know to be a critic about photography!!!!

Thanks again RICK!!!!

River walk in San Antonio

So, We were in Austin visiting Taylors Family last week and we went to San Antoinio to do the River walk... it is really cool and beautiful! I am sure there is alot of cool history behind it but I was too busy seeing picture oppertunities everywhere I turned to pay much attention to anything else! Here are a few pictures of our adventure! Jaecie on the boat that took us around when we were too tired to walk!
Grandma Sue and Jaecie
A picture of the river walk

Lunch time at a really yummy Mexican resturaunt on the River

Jaecie with the pigeons... these thing were not afraid of humans. They kept walking on my feet under our table trying to get our scraps and the were freaking me out!!!
What a georgous place... if your ever in the area be sure to check it out (there are lots of shopping too!)

Nathan's first haircut!!!

He's 2 in 1 month and her finally had enough hair to cut!!! Sue was in town so we ahd her cut it. He held really still as long as he had his cars in his hand!

I did not mean to put this necklace picture in but I cant figure out how to get rid of it without deleting the entire post so it's random.... sorry!

Family Pictures

Grandma Sue and Nathan (this was one of the last ones taken and Nathan was done)
The only shot I could get of him holding still

I do not love any of these but they were the best that we were able to get!

We decided to do some family Pictures in the Stilovich's backyard while we were visiting them last week. I was hoping to get one good enough for our Christmas cards but I think we will be trying again, the kids just did not want picture and Jaecie kept doing weird things.

Pinon Hunters!

Here in NM they sell pinon out of big white van's with PINON painted in big red letters. Taylos parents were junt in town and we stopped to buy some but they wanted ALOT for just one little bag. So, Rick (Taylor's dad) decided to research how to get our own and it turns out it is not that hard So, we decided to go on a pinon nut hunt! We drove up the canyon with our blankets and bags and were ready to get our treasures! Me and Jaecie hanging out in the WOODS!!!!
Jaecie saw a bunch of rocks and of course saw the chance for a photo shoot!
Our little family.... it's an AWFUL picture of me but it's the only one we got so there you go!
The great scavergers! Sue climbed up the trees and the boys stayed down under and they all shook it together... you should have seen those nuts come flying!
This is hard to see but there are alot of pine nuts on the blanket!
Everyone picking out the nuts to put in our little bags!
Nathan just hanging out! He was hard to keep track of... he just kept running away from me (and almost falling into a catus on several occasions!)
Taylor and Rick showing off they're first pine nute that they found right when we got out of the car! We were all very excited!
Naters and Taylor
Laying out the blanket getting ready to shake all the nuts down!
The team at work....... time to shake!!
It was alot of fun and we actually got alot of nuts! We will definatly do it again!
