He is the best little boy a mom could ask for and as happy as I am that he is growig up I would be lying if I said that I am not sad that he is growing up so darn fast! He is such a fun, sweet, easy going little guy and I love him sooooo much! We are blessed to have him in our family and I hope you have a very happy birthdy Mr. Potaters!!!

My first real show!!!!

So.... Saturday was my first offical "Something Fanci" Show. It was a small show in an Albuquerque Elementary school cafeteria but it was fun and a good way to get started! People here are funny I found... everyone is all artsy and they wanted me to have hand strung everything. I was like "well, if you want me to take it apart and re-string it for you I am more than happy to but I will have to charge you double for my time." All in all it was a sucess and all the people around me that go to shows all the time said that this one was very slow so if that is any indicator of what is to come I think this could be a sucess! Below is a picture of my display. It was a little more cluttered then I wanted but I had only set it up in my head prior to this so I had to wing it! I did have alot of compliments on my set up so all in all it was a good day!

This is what we do when were bored.....

Okay so, we were bored the other night and this is what we resorted to. It started when Taylor and I hid from the kids in the laundry room. They couldn't find us so Taylor opened the door and pushed the Laundry basket out in front of the (scared the crap out of Nathan) then we came out and I stuck Naters in the laundry basket and scooted him acoss the floor to Taylor. We started scooting him back and forth across the tile and then Jaecie wanted to join in. So, here is a picture of what entertained us for a while. We ended up getting the going really fast (no one was hurt, Jaecie did tip over once but just yelled "faster!!!!") Check out Jaecies scared face on the bottom shot ...it is hillarious. She does it anytime she is scared.

Who needs toys when you have a Laundry basket???

Another failed attempt.......

Well, as most of you know I take pictures......I have even been know to take some beautiful shots of some beautiful kids....other peoples kids, not my kids. I cannot for the life of me get a good shot of my 2 children together. I tried again yesterday hoping to get a shot good enough for our Christmas cards but, as you will see below, NONE of these are up to my standards. I had this vision of the "perfect" picture of them and it SO did not happen! Oh well, I'd like to say that I am done trying but I am sure we will try again another day but until then this is as good as it gets!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!!!! We had a fun Halloween this year, Jaecie had a great time trick or treating with her friends... Nathan wasn't so sure of all the scary costumes but he did okay. To be honest I was just happy that he would even put his costume on this year. I tried and tried to get him to try on costumes while shopping and he refused... he was terrified of anything "halloween" so I finally gave up and bought him a skeleton shirt and a black pair of sweatpants (pathetic costume I know but I decided I would rather have a pathetic costume and a happy kid then a terrified kid is a cute costume) Anyways... here are a few pictures of our exciting evening!

This was Jaecies witch face...pretty good ay?
It was hard to get Nathan to hold still for a few shots....

We were ready to go!

The best part about Halloween???? Stealing the kids candy after they go to bed!

Jaecie's Halloween party

Jaecie had a Halloween Party at preschool they had a parade at the nursing home next door to the school ... heres a few pictures!

My little witch was very friendly with all the oldies, they were so happy to see the kids and she was a really good sport when she was getting hugs from random wrinkley people!
The whole class outside the nursing home

My little Naters hanging out at the party

Pumpkin' Cuttin'

Well, it's that time of year, and even though I have been listening to Christmas music for almost a month now I decided to get in he Halloween spirit! We got a couple of pumpkins to carve and let the party begin!!!!

Nathan wanted to strike a pose next to Jaecie's pumpkin.......
